How to White Snek: Level 10

Giant, Talking Danger Tube

Jormungandr-Ullr is going to be the bane of most players for their entire PAD lives (if they ever make it here of course).

This level 10 is a fixed team of 6 Tamadras with no skyfall and 8 seconds fixed to move. This consists of a mini-game style of combo matching to clear the 5 mini-games.

The rules are simple:

  1. You must match lights every turn.
  2. You must break the combo shield (boards will always be guaranteed possible).
  3. You cannot stone.

“I shall test your abilities, adventurer”

Jorm will make 14 jammers on the board and leave some lights.

Hit the 5 combos required to continue. This is a pretty easy floor in general. Usually you’ll have at least 2 non-jammer combos that you can make which means making 3 combos of jammers of the 14 jammers. The hardest part is not blobbing the 14 jammers together.

“This is just the beginning”

Jorm will make a DKali board and then blind the entire board. Hit the 6 combos to continue. Try making sure that none of the orbs stay blinded before moving on to the next floor as it can just be an added nuisance.

“Feeling the heat?”

Jorm will make a Linthia board and put a cloud over the left column. Hit the 7 combos to continue. Generally I always planned the combos in the cloud first before working on the rest of the board since trying to find combos in the cloud towards the end of a combo can be difficult for a lot of players. Generally having 2 horizontal and 1 vertical combo is the easiest way to fit the 5 orbs. Since there’s a good chance you’ll have wasted orbs too you can often just make 1-2 combos in the cloud.

Example of a combo that takes up the cloud space.

“Not too shabby”

Will make a row of jammers in the middle then guarantees you at least 3 each of Fire, Water, Wood, Light, Dark, Heart around the jammers. This means you’re guaranteed 8 combos which is also what the combo requirement is for this floor. Since jammers are already matched it is just a question of getting orbs through the row of jammers without destroying any combos. Ideally you could use a jammer combo to cascade orbs down.

“Nobody’s lasted this long in a while…”

If you weren’t triggered by bombs before today, well, you probably will be now.

Jorm makes a bomb infested board that is far more obnoxious to deal with than any other of his little games. Notes: Bombs cannot be cascaded. You MUST match all 8 bomb orbs in 2 separate combos.

Bombs always spawn in the same place but the rest of the board is random.

Generally players will match the bombs on the left and right together and use that to cascade a colored orb down. In the case of the image above, it’s pretty obvious you can match the 4 bombs on the right and cascade the blue orb up top down to the bottom. Efficiency is key for this floor. You must match 9 combos which means ALL COLORS, 2 BOMB COMBOS AND THE JAMMERS!

“Hmph, impressive”

If this were Athena she would say something about the end being nigh.

Jorm will spawn 6 Fire, Water, Wood, Light and Dark orbs which, you guessed it, will guarantee 10 combos which is the requirement for this floor. He will also randomly choose your starting position. The biggest thing here is really to make sure you don’t accidentally connect two of the combos you make. This floor was a dozen times easier than the bomb floor for me so just make sure to plan it properly.

“You have proven yourself, adventurer”

You’ve completed the Sunken Serpent Labyrinth!

General tips: while Dawnglare is a great resource, being able to actually try a practice board in advance will help significantly when it comes to the last two games.

I personally used Combo Master for Android since I could take a screenshot of the board, upload it to Combo Master and practice solving it.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLVER APP, IT WILL NOT MAKE A PATH FOR YOU. YOU STILL HAVE TO PLAN YOUR OWN COMBOS.
