Challenge Dungeons! 32 – Level 8 Fixed Team

Level 8 Fixed Team / No RNG RCV

Another throwback fixed team chalk full of cancer and RNG.

The team comes with no awakenings and no + eggs.

This dungeon should ONLY be attempted solo as stalling coop in this dungeon is very difficult.

Leader Skill: ATK x4 when attacking with 4 of following orb types: Fire, Water, Wood, Light & Dark.

Below are the cooldowns:

Horus – 10

Echidna – 10

Parvati – 5

Hera Is – 15

Zeus – 20

As you can tell, you have a lot of turns to stall.

NOTE: It is very hard to recommend minimum damage given the RNG for skyfall and the fact that you have no board changers. For example, Krakens can be killed with a lot less if you match 2 wood combos.

Floor 1 – Kraken x2

This is part 1 of the super stall and part 1 of the RNGfest.

The Krakens can spawn with 2-4 turns. Every time they hit, they’ll reset with 3 turns. At full HP Krakens will always hit 8986. However, under 50% they’ll hit 16,176.

You have 17,121 HP.

This means you can take 1 hit from a Kraken without dying. So it should be obvious, KILL THE LOWEST TURN KRAKEN ASAP. You need to activate Horus leader skill to kill. Somewhere around 7 combos, all colors should kill one of them. Keep in mind if you skyfall more combos, tough luck, you might end up killing one and either heavily damaging or killing the second.

Keep in mind you’ll have at least 2 turns to kill a Kraken.

If done properly, you’ll kill one and leave the other at full HP.

Now, here’s the RNG.

Because the dungeon is no-rcv, you are FORCED to use Parvati to heal. If both Krakens spawn at 2 turns, Parvati will not be up in time to heal before you take a second hit.

But if you don’t get trolled like I did (yes, my C8 clear had both Krakens at 2 turns), then you can keep rotating Parvati with Kraken hits to heal enough to survive. Parvati will always be up before Kraken can hit twice after the initial rotation. However, after using Parvati the first time, Kraken will hit twice before you get Parvati up. To deal with this, you can save yourself 3 hearts to use after the hit so you can tank a second hit before Parvati comes back up. Keep in mind Parvati is Water to Heart so always save waters and clear other orbs while stalling those turns.

At worst, you’ll get 4 turns of stall here. Ideally, you can 6-10 turns of stall before moving on.

**ALTERNATIVE FLOOR 1 STRATEGY**

Enter the dungeon co-op. Stall on Krakens in the same way you would solo. Disconnect after the first Kraken hit. This guarantees both players at least 1 turn of stalling (if they both spawn with 2), that Kraken will be 3 turns until the next hit (after disconnecting) and that you have full HP.

Floor 2 – Cerberus

Can spawn 2-4 turns. Will ALWAYS kill you once the timer is up.

You can one shot Cerberus with a good combo (it’s easier to kill Cerberus than a Kraken as long as you use lights).

Stall as much as possible here. If you’re not full HP, have multiple turns left for Cerberus, use Parvati to heal here.

Just hope you don’t roll 2 turns if you weren’t able to full stall on Floor 1.

Floor 3 – Lilith

Can spawn 1-2 turns. Attacks are RNG.

This is not the ideal floor to stall. Like Cerberus, you can one shot Lilith with a good combo. It will require 2 fire combos and a light combo (or swap for 1 fire 2 light). Again, can change with skyfalls. If you can’t kill but have full HP, don’t worry, you can tank a hit or she might skip a turn if you’re super lucky.

Again, I would recommend just killing as fast as possible.

Floor 4 – Vampire x3

Stall-fest part 2. You should hopefully have Echidna up for this floor. However if you’ve been counting along like I have, with bad RNG you can get to this floor with 2 turns left on Echidna.

Can spawn 1-3 turns.

If you were unable to get both your gravities up by this floor, use Echidna ASAP. You’ll need to stall 10 turns now if you use Echidna. Luckily the next floor guarantees you 5 turns of stalling so you only need to stall 5 turns here.

Assuming all 3 spawn with 1 turn (worst case scenario) you’ll have 4 turns free. Use this time to heal up with Parvati and kill 2 of the Vampires in the same way as you kill Lilith. Avoid mass-attacking lights or fires since Vampire will hit a lot harder under 50% (similar to Kraken).

So take 2 turns and get 2 good hits on the Vampires after healing.

Ideally you should have 1 Vampire left before any of them hit you.

Once Vampire hits, it will always reset with 2 turns. Since Parvati is 5 turns, you’ll get hit twice before you even even Parvati. This is obviously not the best place to do any long term stalling. BUT! You can take 2 hits from full HP. So kill this floor when you have 5 turns or less on your Echidna + Zeus.

Floor 5 – Hades

Can spawn 5-7 turns. Use this time to heal up with Parvati before getting to the next floor because you’re going to be taking a preemptive hit and usually 1-2 other hits before you can kill.

It usually takes 2 turns to kill Hades. He has a bit less than twice the HP of Lilith (1M HP).

This is your last chance to stall. Once everything is up and you have HP, just keep hitting him.

Floor 6 – Satan

DELAY DELAY DELAY

Do not waste any time, delay right away.

Use both gravities right from the start.

Just keep doing as much damage every turn. On turns that you have a good amount of fires, use Horus.

Combo count is the most important thing here. 2 light combos does more damage than 1 combo of 6 orbs.

After the preemptive hit, you can’t take 2 more hits without healing in the middle. You can technically heal while damaging provided you match fires, woods, lights, and darks after using Parvati. However, if using Parvati breaks your activation you may as well go for the good combo right there and then since you’d be doing no damage.

Good luck!

  1. Thanks for the guide! It was really helpful!! Cleared c8 on main and alt without a hitch with the disconnect method! 😀

  2. Thanks for this post! It was really helpful and I especially appreciate you talking through the Kraken options on floor 1. I failed once on my main, but eventually cleared it with both my alt and main.
